Clinical counselling with a focus on the
Emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, and relational health. Providing you with the tools you need to develop effective solutions to the specific challenges you face.
In this time of social distancing, taking care of our mental health is more important than ever. When isolated, feelings of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness can quickly run rampant.
For some these feelings can be so destructive it is hard to get out of bed in the morning, but for others it can be more subtle. Noticing first that it has taken more energy to be present with your relationships and things you use to enjoy easily. Sleep begins to suffer, your work performance is declining, all while you hope you will snap out of it. Even if you are able to hide it around others, it comes at a cost of suffering alone and in silence.
In our sessions you will learn skills to feel grounded, and gain an awareness of what may be going on beneath the surface. We will work together on ways in which you can effectively grow and find solutions to your own unique challenges. These solutions are not limited to self-improvement, but also new patterns of communication and relationship with others.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups with both high-risk concerns as well as clients looking to manage moderate mental health concerns for more successful daily living. I’m experienced in both brief solution-focused as well as long-term counselling approaches.
